Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is a Hollywood writer and actor who has received critical recognition for her talents. Sagittarius. Born in North Carolina, on 3rd December 1960. She's the oldest of three children, and was the daughter of Peter Moore Smith who was an Army paratrooper. The mother of her child Anne is a psychotherapist. The Moore family is English, Scottish and of mixed heritage. Moore's father was a mover often due to his work. It was hard for her to find and keep friendships. Moore was a stage actor during her time at Frankfurt American High School when the family moved to Germany. The school she attended was Boston University where she graduated in 1983 with B.F.A. Moore graduated in 1983, with a B.F.A. Moore's professional career started at New York with Off-Broadway Theater immediately following graduating. Moore first appeared on an episode of The Edge of Night, that aired on TV in 1985. She played the dual role of Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in the show As the World Turns that was her first major role. It ran through 1988, and she won the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, she began her film debut with Tales from the Darkside: The Movie which she later described as an awful low-budget movie. Short Cuts (1997) and 3 Women (1993), each Robert Altman productions, were her debut films. In the latter, she received several awards and critical acclaim. Moore played her first big part in Safe in 1995, a movie. Steven Spielberg chose Moore to portray the role of the protagonist for Jurassic Park: The Lost World. The film was one of the most popular movies released during the time. She was a part of Magnolia (1999) and was critically acclaimed, which earned her an SAG nomination for her part. In 2002 she co-starred in The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep. Moore was also in The Forgotten (2003), Freedomland (2005), Shelter (2010) and many other films. Non-Stop was a show that aired in 2014. Moore has been in many films and shows. Her most recent starring role was in the film When You Finish Saving the World (2022). In her role as a Hollywood actor and writer for children The actress has a long-standing reputation.
